Permanent Resident Fees increasing on April 30, 2026

Effective April 30, 2026, Canada will increase government processing fees for Permanent Residence applications for a number of immigration programs.

Updated fees for Principal Applicants:

• Right of Permanent Residence Fee — $600
• Provincial Nominee Program — $990
• Business (Start-up & Self-employed) — $1,895
• Family Class Sponsorship — $570
• Protected Persons — $660
• Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds or Public Policy Measures — $660
• Permit Holders — $390
